I began listening to this podcast after being recruited for my first non-minimum-wage job, and managing others became a responsibility. Mark and Mike never miss an opportunity to remind us that managers are rarely taught how to manage, and while this was certainly clear to me in my freshman days, it became terrifyingly obvious even a decade into my career. Thankfully, this duo does a fantastic job filling our knowledge gap with actionable, to-the-point, and elegantly thoughtful advice, delivered in a comfortable conversation between two friends.
